GUITAR - Is 1300 dollars too much if you don't play on stage?
I have always wanted a Gibson Les Paul, and a beautiful one is sold by a Guitar Center near my house. But it is $1300. I play a lot and want to continue to play, like a hobby forever. And don't these instruments last a lifetime? Would you guys say this is too much money for a guitar when I am not playing on stage, just at home with friends and their basses and other guitars. And also, right now I have an Epiphone, but am not a big fan of it.

- If u want my opinion I think that is alright for a guitar considering u play alot. I have seen guitars about 10x the amount of that, but guitars break also or wear out so it's really up 2 u.
- My opinion is that if you like it go for it,Doesnt matter the cost as long as YOU are happy.
- As long as you're going to use it a lot and arn't quiting anytime soon, then 1300 is a fine price
