Do you think my collecting hobby is interesting?
My hobby is collecting inflatable pool toys. I have been doing this for a long time. I am just wondering what other people think of it since my parents don't like it much. Your input is greatly appreciated.

- well i must say it kind of weird but i guess if you really enjoy doing this don't let other people opinions matter do if you enjoy it and don't care of what the think,(allthough its kind strange but in a good way :P).
- It depends on what type of things are the inflatable toys. If they are like ducks and such simple things, it would seem a little 'childish'. But more complex things could be real good. Also, your parents might not like it because they take up a lot of space, so mabye it's not that big a deal, collecting inflatable pool toys.
- Most hobbies are only interesting to those who enjoy the same thing. Don't worry about what others think. Just make sure that you are taking proper care of your inflatables, because the materials may be subject to decay. Find out how to best store them so that they don't deteriorate over time. Who knows - you might make a fortune off of them in the future!
- Why collect stuff other people collect? Collecting by it's very nature should be of something unique. More power to you. Afterall..., the last thing I would ever want to be is just normal.
- How fun is that! People collect a variety of things and your hobby is fun and interesting for YOU! Do you keep them in the package or do you take them out and blow them up then put them away?
- Wow..it sounds about as exciting as watching paint dry. Good luck with that and beware of stray pins on the floor.

- No I don't think it is interesting but why should my opinion matter? Collecting is a personal hobby and a personal choice. Don't allow other people's opinion to sway you.
- It is very interesting and original hobby; moreover it is up to you what to collect!!!Your hobby is much same as collecting ceramic dolls, old wine,.....You can open your own museum of inflatable pool toys:)Good luck!
