Crazy Hobbies

So you lose your hobbies and humanity in Heaven?

Afterall, isn't Heaven a place with no sin, complete and utter perfection? Humans aren't supposed to be perfect yet when they die, they're "like the angels"? And hobbies are supposed to mean imperfection as well. Perfection is being perfectly still, never moving, never talking, sitting in perfect peace and tranquility, no hobbies, no material things, no activites, no sexual intercourse. If Heaven is "PERFECT", then your humanity and hobbies must vanish as well. It sounds as awful and horrible as Hell. I like being me. I like being human. I like having all my current hobbies. "perfection" means sitting still like a statue. Heaven must be really boring!!!

  1. Well... I like being me. I like being human. I like having all my current hobbies--as well You have an "earthly" view of perfection, not a heavenly one.
  2. Thats Why I want to go to hell we get to have as much Premarital sex as we want! and you are right Heaven does sound boring! Im not devoting my whole damn life to something that is boring and I wont be able to play video games..
  3. don't worry, you can still do the really fun things like sitting quietly in church and reading the bible
  4. Have fun burning in the lake of fire then.Keep ignoring Christ
  5. Eternal life is available only as a gift from YAHOSHUA. Higher than the highest thought of man are the plans of the Almighty for those who love Him. I don't know the details, but I'm pretty sure He is sharper than I am, and I choose to trust that I will be happy with what He chooses.
  6. "and hobbies are supposed to mean imperfection as well." why? "Perfection is being perfectly still, never moving, never talking, sitting in perfect peace and tranquility, no hobbies, no material things, no activites" where you get that?
  7. Yeah. Just TRY holding a fishing rod or golf club or X-Box controls when your "body" is a stinking cloud of Methane gas!
  8. Humans make mistakes its part of behaving .... well Humanely! Your absolutely right. How could we all be perfect and yet in bliss? I mean, what if food made someone happy? Wouldn't their paradise be miles of their favorite foods, leading to gluttony? It never makes sense, but the Bible rarely does.
  9. Why would you have to leave your hobbies behind in Heaven? Unless those hobbies are sinful in which case I guess you wouldn't be going to Heaven anyway.
  10. Our minds cannot grasp how wonderful it will be in the kingdom. Romans 8:18-19 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of Yahweh.
