Hobbies???
How can I find some new hobbies? I seem to have a problem finding things that I love to do. I think, oh, I'd like to do that, but then I turn around and am bored already. I play drums but I can only play so long untill I get bored. I run some too, but I don't work out for to long. I can do things on the computer, but I'm only ok at them, I want to be great at doing something. I'd perfer it if I didn't have to leave my house and I'd like it to be some kind of skill. Would making it into some kind of routine work? What suggestions do you have?

- I started by buying a couple of inexpensive wood-working tools. Before long, I was able to design items and turn them out in mass. That lead to large wood factory management. Before long, I was designing and building houses and small business places. I remained in the contracting business until retirement. - - - it all started with a small table saw.
- pick a theme....for example something antique and collect any that you find to be antique.....hope this helps
- Go to a hobby shop, like Hobby Lobby or Jo-Ann's and wander the isles until you find something that catches your eye. Get a lot of different hobbies that you can do a lot with, and you probably won't get bored as easy, or do different things at the same time. I sew as I watch the commentaries of my favorite movies, or I crochet while watching TV and surfing the web at the same time. The trick is to find something that you lose yourself in and that you can be proud of later.
- Build models. Go down to HobbyTown USA or something and you can build a car, a plane, a helicopter, a ship, anything that was a vehicle is available as a model. Start out easy and inexpensive, maybe a kit where you don't have to glue or paint to start out with and see if you like it. After that you can glue the parts together and move on to making your own paint schemes. I would suggest RC vehicles, unlimited amount of fun and money spent on those things...But then you said you didn't want to leave the house so that ruled that out.
- Try ham radio. Learn about it online at www.arrl.org
