  1. A lot of answers here: http://www.expertvillage.com/
  2. Pool is a great hobby to take up. It's very inexpensive and you can meet lots of people that have a variety of interests away from the pool table. You can find out if there's a league in your area by going to www.poolplayers.com. Building plastic models is also a lot of fun. There are a couple of sites you can look up to find out if there's anyone close to you that also builds model kits. It's also another great way to make new friends.
  3. If you like flying and don't have a lot money you can build model air planes and learn to fly them . Their are different ways to power them rubber bands, electric motors powered by batteries, small gas engines. you can design your own stile shapes. They can be controlled by string, remote control radio,or free flight.
  4. You say, you need a hobby that you're good at. How can a stranger know what to suggest to you? You are the perfect person to ask. Isn't there something that you have never done; that you would like to do before you die? Whether it be a hobby or another career. I asked myself that question back in 1985. I went to school to be a LPN (licensed practical nurse); because I had always wanted to be a nurse since I was a teenager. When I was 15 I was a nurses' aide for a few years; part time while I was going to high school. I wanted to be a RN (registered nurse), but I didn't think I was smart enough. So, I gave up the idea. Then, when I was 50 years old, I decided that I wanted to do the nurse thing. I went to LPN school. It took 18 months to complete. I worked part time the first 9 months; then I quit my job and finished the last half of the clinical part. I loved it so much and was so happy through the whole thing. Now, I am retired from nursing. So, you decide what you want to do whether it's a job or for recreational purpose. That, when you are 80 years old; what you may wish you had done for yourself that you have never done? Don't miss out. Give it a lot of thought. Good luck.
