What is the traditional method of destroying parking meters in your town?o?
What methods are used in your area? Is it just a hobby or a concerted campaign? Thinking of Lewes in Sussex, England. Its traditions may make it exceptional?

- dont know about parking meters but once I'd left my mobile in work and had to walk to the phone box to call a taxi, got all the way to the phone box and someone had nicked the phone and coin collection bit! ended up catching the bus. ewww
- not parking meters round here its speedcameras, air rifle, shoot out the glass from a distance...
- A pipecutter has always been my weapon of choice. Watch a movie called "Cool Hand Luke" for more details. Sometimes nothing can be a real cool hand...
- i reckon a great big baseball bat would do the trick but make sure you wear a balaclava!!!! or dress so no one will recognise you
- Well depending how violent you wanna get, a bull bar and Chevy silverado will take one out but poring super glue will screw it up pretty good too. The truck is funner.
- There was a rash of meter heads being cut off in Washington DC a few years back.
- a really strong marine magnet used for picking up anchors off of sea bed. wave it across LCD read out that should f*** it up
