- Shelbyville, Indiana. Home of the world's tallest woman. Addition: Well I suppose i'm not the only hoosier to answer this question!
- We have a very nice well-behaved volcano (except one April Fools Day) and lots of wildlife and great fishing. We also had Alaska's only death by electric chair (not an execution).
- small.
- Little League World Champions. Seaside (the beach)
- Fort Wayne, IN Named the fatest and dumbest city in the nation nothing but the truth these people are complete retards (im not from here)
- I live in "the small town" This is John Mellencamps hometown. He wrote small town about my town, and his early videos are filmed in my town. Also, my town is home of the first train robbery. The Reno Brothers were their names and they are even buried here.
- My town is special because no matter where you go you can see the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The history of the town is rich with many different cultures that live together peacefully. Theres Philipinos, Koreans, Hawaiians, Samoans, Puerto Ricans, Chinese, Japanese, Irish, Portuguese et... all of which we call family. The truth is I live on a small tropical island in the middle of the pacific ocean called Kauai, also known as the Garden Island of Hawaii.
- Doc Holiday finished his dental carreer here before he contracted TB and went west. Most wooden telephone poles are manufactured here. The winningest high school football team in the USA is here. Unfortunately, two US Navy Blue Angel Pilots died here while practicing aerial maneuvers. My town has been a tree city USA for 20 years now. We have one of the best theme parks in the southeastern US right here. Our University has won a national championship in football and twice in baseball in Division two. Two of our High schools have won back to back state championships in the biggest high school classification in the state. We have azaleas and camelias all over town.
- (small town I grew up in) Birthplace of Delta Airlines. Ist person to bottle Coca-Cola lived there. Tim McGraw went to the same college I did and lived about 20 minutes from me. The college I went to has one of the best pharmacy schools in the nation. A chemical plant in a suburb outside of this town blew up and exploded back when I was in high school. We were nicknamed BOOMtown by the rest of the nation for many years. (town I currently live in) our state capital, major port city along the Mississippi, Exxon Mobile refinery My state is the only state in the US that has parishes rather than counties due to our French heritage and culture.
- We've got the first public library, Horace Mann was born here, and Helen Keller was born in the next town over (though a lot of people say the borders were different at the time so she could've been born here..lol).. oh also, we've got one of the only one-room schoolhouses left in the entire country! And, Aerosmith played at our town High School when they were still a garage band (they're from Boston and I live in Franklin, about 30 mins south)
- My town is special because if your car breaks down or you get stuck in the snow some one will still stop to help you before you freeze to death. It's not as safe here as it used to be but people still care. And most of the time, no matter where you go, you will find people of all shades living together. We had a BBQ today and if you were here you would have thought it was the United Nations. There was Black, White, Indian, Asian and a couple of people that I don't know where they came from. You'd be amazed at what you could learn about all people if you lived in my town. Anchorage, Alaska
- WHAT MAKES MY TOWN SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE MAIN VEGETABLE SUPPLIER (ESPECIALLY LETTUCE)FOR MOST OF THE WORLD AND THAT JOHN STEINBECK WAS BORN HERE
