Crazy Hobbies

Do conspiracy theorists really believe that Bush leveled the towers, or are they just looking for attention?

....and a fun hobby that requires not a mastery of a musical instrument, a sport, or some other skill, but internet access and a mouse. Oh yeah, they get to make a lot of cool friends with equally brilliant individuals who get to set up meetings and write blogs. So, do they believe it because they really think it happened, or because they have nothing else better to do and are desperate for friends?

  1. I believe it because that is what I feel happened. Not because I want attention.
  2. I know a few that really are that loony.
  3. Al Qaeda was responsible for 9/11 and not the Bush administration. Conspiracy theorists have no direct evidence but all presumptions.
  4. They believe it. They also believe Elvis is in hiding, the moon landing was faked and John Lennon was an MI-5 operative. There are always going to be people out there who refuse to look at hard evidence, the only thing you can do is supply them with tinfoil.
  5. i guess it would be more scary if no one questioned anything about it.
  6. They are always trying to make the good guy wrong.
  7. Most of them are just BDS sufferers. Sad really. They need help.
  8. Not Bush, he's too stupid. It was Cheney, Rove, Ashcroft, Rumfeld, Wolfowitz, and Rice., along with some help from Pakistan.
  9. Awww. Don't you know the FBI shot JFK? They could easily bribe 2 or 3 hundred people into taking a plane ride to nowhere. Next season maybe they'll show up on Lost.
  10. They watched that comedy movie, Conspiracy Theory, starring Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts.... and thought it was a documentary.
  11. All of the above but there are millions of Americans who are really p.o'd that Bush and his Cabinet ignored the August memorandum informing them that bin Laden was determined to strike the US on our soil. Georgie went on vacation.
  12. As a left winger, the people who believe Bush was behind 9/11 are our wack jobs, kind of the equivilant of the right wingers who say that man has nothing to do with global warming.
  13. I just tell them Clinton did all the bombings in the 90's. The look on their faces are priceless. Like they got hit on the head with a mallet.
  14. I don't think people make very many friends by being on the fringe... I think they believe there is enough evidence and evasion on the part of the President and his crew to be suspicious... beyond that, it seems that everyone has a different take. You have to admit, some of the "coincidences" are truly frightening... Why was George Bush's brother Marvin working as Security for both the World Trade Center AND United Airlines? Meanwhile his OTHER brother was Governor of the Swing State where the election became unreasonably unaccounted for... The Bush Family Nepotism causes DOUBT in people's minds... it's just too much to reason with.
  15. What, you mean Elvis is DEAD!? First Santa Clause, and now this!
  16. So by the way Where is Osama? Do you feel safe knowing NORAD was so useless? Pull it......and # 7 building implodes at 5-6 pm the same day All in a days work, right? Wake up!
  17. The same people who say the Bush is a stupied idiot also say that he was smart enough to master mind 9-11 I don't get it
  18. It is important to have people question what the "Media" says, and especially what the Gov't says. It could be that the "Presidency" had something to do with it. They bring up several points which agree with the "official" story which bring into question the conclusions the gov't wants people to believe. To assume Al Queda and the Bush administration are not in cahoots is naieve in the world political situation of today.
  19. I believe it because of the information that has come my way. We know that evil exists right? So, who is to say that it only exists in arab terrorists and not in rich powerful white guys? People in positions of power are usually not concerned with the greater good. Anything is possible and If you cannot believe that for whatever reason then I feel sad for you. If on the evening of 9/11/01 we were told over and over that bush planned it and he was responsible, would you have believed it or would you think the media was lying? Open your mind, you cannot believe everything that is shoved down your throat.
  20. People often believe what they wish to believe! Ask any of these conspiracy nuts to explain their position. You will get a answer comparable to Alice in Wonderland, Maybe a version comparable to the three stooges. Facts will have little, are nothing to do with their conclusions! Their conclusions are contrived, because of who they are! These people hate Bush so much that they will willingly believe anything that denigrates him!
  21. Maybe they are just looking for answers to lots of real questions that have never been answered about September 11th. I don't believe in the conspiracies myself, but there is LOTS of misinformation and outright lies still floating around about what happened that day. Maybe once the people that have an interest in "Covering their Azzez" are no longer in power some answers can begin to trickle down.
  22. ...yeah, they are just looking for a fun hobby.
  23. bush didn't do anything on 9/11...just like his pnac handlers were counting on.
  24. pnac leveled the towers. bush is their puppet. they knew he'd stand by and do NOTHING as terrorists attacked the USA and murdered Americans on 9/11, giving them the "pearl harbor type event" they wanted for an excuse to invade iraq.
  25. I think some of them actually do believe it. They are also the ones who read the enquirer and believe that as well yet refuse to believe real facts.
