Is it possible to convert an original XMODS' electronics to hobby grade?
I am looking at an on-road R/C car, and I was wondering if I can convert the RadioShack XMODS electronics to hobby-grade micro size. I know I probably will have to continue to use RadioShack motors, however. If you want to know what I'm talking about, these are parts you buy at hobby shops, and mail-order/online stores like tower hobbies. I have a good estimation I could use a Hitec HS-55, Novak Spy Micro ESC, and a receiver of some sort, like a Novak XXL or Futaba R142JE on its side to fit the old control board's tight space.
