Why are people shocked when they find out that I love to read and cooking is my hobby?

1. That's really odd that they would be shocked at such normal things; I have no idea why.

9. I think people are shocked by it b/c they see your personality as somebody else. I don't find anything wrong with ppl who love to read or cook. I actually know a few friends who love to read.
