what's the best hobby people should get into?

  1. The best hobby should be either playing an instrument or art. Art and music are the 2 ways for me to express my feelings without having a tantrum. It also makes me feel good that I can release my feelings or stress.
  2. the best hobby for people to get into is in the extresise of their body by maintaining it physically fit you have absolutley no problems and your body tends to feel more relaxed and its also fun.
  3. The "best hobby" is a very individual thing. What is "best" for one person is not going to be the "best" for another individual. Whatever a person enjoys doing will be the best for them. Good luck!
  4. The best hobby for me is playing Neopets and Marapets. Its very convenient and echonomical. It will keep you busy and away from wasting money or being outdoors unnecesarily. Plus both sites are free to play in. There are many adults hooked into those, believe it or not! I have message boards for help on both games: http://mymarapets.proboards98.com/ http://molokaicreeper.proboards29.com/ There is a banner to join them on my message board. If you sign up with it, it will give me the benefit for referring someone. If you dont want to, its ok with me, you dont need a referral to create an account. But Neo and Mara have really changed my life, they have become part of my everyday life basically.
  5. Try coin collecting. It doesn't have to cost you a lot. You can go to the bank and pick of a box of coin (whichever denomination you like) for exactly face value. A box of pennies is $25, a box of nickels is $100, a box of dimes is $250 and boxes of half dollars or quarters are $500. The bank can pull out just $100 for you and you wouldn't have to buy all $500 if you didn't want to. Once you get a box, you can go through and pull out the better coins (there are books to help with this or websites). You can pick up a coin book and try to fill all the holes or just search for interesting ones. The coins that you don't want can be returned to the bank and put straight back into your account (though it's often better to return the coins to a different bank (not just a different branch but a different bank) so that you don't search the same boxes over and over). So you get most of your money back and you could then get another box. Also check your change for interesting finds. Some things to search for: wheat pennies, silver dimes, silver quarters, old coins, error coins, etc. There's always the chance that you could find something really valuable!
  6. The best hobby for a person is one that is of interest to them, and affordable. Do they like to make things with their hands? Collect things? Design? Do they have a lot of space to devote to their hobby? Some require a lot of space, such as woodworking and scrapbooking. Some require little space, such as stamp or coin collecting. Some are very expensive to get started in, with a lot of equipment to buy. Some are quite cheap and don't require any equipment.
  7. not everyone has the same interests It depends on your interests I personally enjoy knitting, spinning, making soaps, weave, felt basically into the fiber arts, Also like to collect socks yarns, teas, penguins & lighthouses. collecting and hobbing are different I think I'd recommend to follow your interests and what makes you happy. Be true to yourself and not to follow what others are doing.. Good Luck
  8. What relaxes me, mine are flying R/C Airplanes and fishing.
  9. i think Lacrosse or bball or bmxing in my opinion this is the best sport ever
  10. It all depends on what you like.......coins, stamps, State items or whatever.....
  11. Is money an option? I do stained glass. It's nice and creative. I needed $500 to start out. I also knit and crochet. Not too expensive to get into and makes great christmas gifts that you can work on all year. There are also different varieties of yarn you can purchase. Cheap yarn for $2.50 to nice varigated hand painted wool yarn for $40. I all boils down to how much patience you have.
  12. read, collect and trade books
  13. What ever they want the most. We are all different and don't want to do something we will get bored with before we have even learned it, so - pick a hobby with your heart. If it turns out to be the wrong one, so what, try another. I move from one hobby to another and then go back again. I do whichever I am in the mood for.
