Is it werid for a 19yr old to want a new hobby that involves people his age?

My friend says the fact that i want a hobby that involves people my age makes me weird?

1. Well he is wrong I hate to say, He is the one that is weird, a lot of my friends are all about my age and some are a lot younger and i don't think it is weird at all. I think as long as you get along and have fun with the person it doesn't matter how old you are. Any way age is just a number when you think about.(LOL)

Aint nothing weird about that,shi!t this is weird,i want to learn how to chrochet,i'm 33 and when i'm not shooting a car in my garage i want learn that.I tried to learn on my own and when someone knocks at the door one of my employes or something i hide every thing my yarn and what not,lol or if i get caught i blame it on my girl friend. NY body shop owner.

4. I think your friend is weird if they don't want hobbies that include your age group. Don't worry too much about this, maybe your friend is scared that a hobby will interfere with your friendship (if your friend isn't interested that is). We tend to scorn what we don't understand instead of trying to comprehend it.
5. Here is the deal! Don't worry about what your friends say! You need to do what makes you happy. If having a new hobby that involves other 19 yr. olds is what will make you happy, then it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks anyway. Live your life in a way that makes you happy, and content, and with no regrets. If your friends are true friends, they will be glad that you are doing something for yourself. And, if not, then you really don't need to worry about what they think anyway, because obviously they don't care about your opinions and desires and you don't need to count on them as friends anyway.
