How do i make more friends and be less boring? Any suggestions on a new hobby?
I'm 23 and have just moved to a new area of the UK, leaving all my old friends behind. Since moving I've realised that I don't really have any interesting hobbies (or any proper hobbies at all!) and am finding it hard to make new friends as I never have anything interesting to say about myself! Any suggestions about a new hobby i could take up (thats good for someone in their 20s!) that would be a good way to broaden my horizons and make new friends?!

- Archery it rocks and its easy to make friends every archer is willing to help you learn the sport and therefor become your friend
- What about night classes at a college,,,,,you might meet someone ,,,,in the same position,,,
- well if you like art you could consider taking a art class, but I mean it depends what intrests you I'd give more detail.
- Join a photography club, or a book club. Take up rock climbing or join a gym. Get started with a local theatre group. Volunteer at a hospital or nursing home.

- First of all, let me say I really admire your courage to leave your old friends behind and start a new life. I've been in your situation before. Here are some ways to build new friends easily - based on my experience: 1. Go to church groups or even for a stroll to the parks and smile near people whom you'd think you would click. Say "Hi, How are you today? The weather seems quite clear or dull today". Get into that act of conversing to build a conversation with them. 2. Go to a gymnasium and talk to people you may like to be friends with. 3. Talk to a shopkeeper, an elderly, or anyone that seems trustworthy to you. Your avenues to friendship open there by meeting nice random people. Hope this helps :)
